REVIEW: Girl Last Seen
Overall, I enjoyed “Girl Last Seen” written by Nina Lauren. I fills all the boxes for a suspense/mystery novel. The main character Lainey was likable despite her inner demons.
I did however, find the book a little predictable. I kept waiting for a big twist and there are certainly some along the way, but I did not find the ending very surprising. Maybe I watch too many lifetime murder/mystery movies that I am numb!
All in all, it was a quick read and I wanted to keep going to find out what happens. I would LOVE to hear your opinion on this one if you read it!
During March I will be reading ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ by Ruth Ware
“Imagine you’re a travel writer on assignment aboard a small luxury cruise. Nice. Now imagine you see a woman get thrown overboard and no one believes you. Not so nice. This beach read thriller has sun, suspense, and goes well with SPF.” – The Skimm
Sadly, I will not be reading this book in a tropical location, but I look forward to being transported to a warmer place while this winter hangs on for dear life.
